A satiny smooth entry leads to a moderately sweet and fruity medium-to full-bodied palate with rich honey baked orchard fruit and berry fruit pie with delicate spices, and vibrant wildflower honey. Finishes with a long, honey, fruit, tart, and spice fade. Fantastically pure, balanced, and delicious— a dessert in a glass!
Comments: At this competition Redstone Black Raspberry Reserve received the highest rating (46 out of 50 points) ever awarded to a commercial mead by the Mazer Cup judges. Redstone Traditional Mountain Honey Wine also won 2nd Place!
