2006 International
Mead Festival
Thanks
for attending the 2006 IMF! This
was
the largest gathering of commercial meads: 30 companies entered 97
meads. Approximately 950 people attended
the
festival which makes our 4th year festival the most attended mead
festival. People attended from over 25
states, Canada and Japan. See you over Valentine’s Day weekend 2007!
A Boulder Revel
A
Boulder Revel is the celebration of the Spring Equinox.
All 5 wineries of Boulder County will be
there serving
up over 25 locally produced wines and mead.
Don’t forget the chocolate and cheese…!
Products and food will be available for purchase.

Roasted Salmon
Puttanesca paired with Pinot Pyment Mountain Honey Wine

2 14 oz. cans Stewed Tomatoes
1 cup chopped Kalamata Olives
1/2 cup capers, drained and rinsed
4 cloves minced garlic
1 teaspoon dried thyme
2 bay leaves
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
4 boneless skinless salmon fillets
salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 400°. Combine Tomatoes
through red
pepper flakes in a saucepan and simmer mixture, stirring for 5
minutes.
Season salmon with salt and pepper. Arrange salmon in baking dish
and
spoon sauce over fish. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until just
cooked through.
Serve over pasta or baked spaghetti squash. Serves 4. Pair with Redstone Meadery’s Pinot Noir
Pyment. Enjoy!
