2002 Red Raspberry Reserve is Released
Release #2 in the Redstone Meadery "Reserve Series" is now available. We proudly make this much anticipated announcement to our wait list as well as the general public alike.
True mead appreciators and fans can now secure a bottle of this 16% alcohol dessert mead at redstonemeadery.com or purchase directly in our Boulder, Colorado Tasting Room.
The aroma explodes with red raspberries as it slightly tickles the nose with alcohol. Then the taste covers one's tongue in a warm blanket of honey and fruit. Some tartness and therefore acidity balances the sweetness for a finish that leaves one wanting more than just a second sip.
Reminder…November 5 and 6 - International Mead Festival Tickets Now On Sale!
Check out www.meadfest.com to order your tickets on-line for the 2004 International Mead Festival - Honeywines of the World. Plan to attend the world's largest commercial mead competition and festival. This third annual historic event will be held in Boulder, Colorado and is NOT TO BE MISSED.
Upcoming Events Worth Your While to Attend:
Places you can visit us in the next few weeks: (In addition to our Boulder, Colorado Tasting Room)…
Saturday, September 18 - Colorado Mountain Wine Festival
Did you know Colorado has over 50 wineries with 5 of those companies making a mead?
Visit http://www.coloradowinefest.com/ to get tickets and check out which of Colorado's growing winery list will be pouring at this outdoor, picnic style tasting. On festival day patrons can taste as well as purchase bottles to-go.
Saturday, September 18 - Festival of the Mabon
Put on by the music festival professionals at Planet Bluegrass (www.bluegrass.com) this "Celtic tinged" Festival will feature global music acts including the well known Irish band the Wayfarers. Look for Redstone to be serving our mead right next to beer sponsor New Belgium Brewing Company. A fine selection of fermented beverages indeed.
Thursday, September 30 - Saturday, October 2 - GREAT American Beer Festival
Ok all, it's that time again. It should be a national holiday so every adult can attend, but no, only the lucky few (last year logged over 20,000 attendees!) who motivate will be able to enjoy. Ticket information is at http://www.beertown.org/events/gabf/index.htm. Look for Redstone Meadery as we'll be on the floor pouring with the over 300 breweries who serve and compete.
The Grassroots effort continues. Email us your account suggestions…
For a list of our current accounts visit http://redstonemeadery.com/where.html We'd also like to hear your suggestion of where you want to see us carried. If you have a local liquor store, restaurant or pub who does not carry us but you'd like them to then let us know by emailing: (info@redstonemeadery.com). We'd be glad to follow up. On the flip side be sure to ask them to carry us as that's what really makes the orders happen.
Mead on!
