Redstone Now in 15 States and Counting…Chairman of the Mead to Travel Coast to Coast in September.

Hey folks. We’re getting the ‘Chairman’ out to promote mead, coast to coast. This month look for Redstone to be in Seattle, Washington Tuesday, September 13 at Beverage Place Pub from 4-6 pm and Dog & Pony at 7 pm on. Wednesday the 14th he’ll be at Bottleworks from 5-7 pm and then Barking Dog from 7:30 pm on.

Then it’s to the East Coast on September 20 for a promotion at ‘Max’s on Broadway’ in Baltimore, Maryland. Please spread the word.

Look for Redstone at the Great American Beer Festival - Denver, Colorado

It’s that time again. We say every year it should be a national holiday so every appreciator can attend.  Over 20,000 people motivate to enjoy the GABF and we’d love to see you there.  Ticket information is at http://www.gabf.org. Festival dates are: Thursday, September 29 – Saturday, October 1.

This Month’s’ Mead/Food Pairing: Vegetarian Tostados and Sunshine Nectar

Vegetarian Tostadas
(serves 6)

2 teaspoon olive oil
1 cup onion, diced small
2 cloves garlic minced
1 cup red potatoes diced small
1 cup Sweet potatoes, diced small
1 cup zucchini, diced small
1 15 oz. can black beans
1 cup frozen sweet corn
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 teaspoons oregano
2 teaspoons basil
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water
6 whole wheat flour tortillas
cooking spray
kosher salt
Italian seasoning
guacamole
salsa
shredded cheddar cheese
cilantro

Preheat oven to 350°.  Spray tortillas with cooking spray and sprinkle with salt and Italian seasonings.  Bake in oven until crisp and brown.  Meanwhile, heat sauté pan to medium heat and add oil.  When hot, add onions, and garlic.  Sauté approx. 5 minutes then add remaining vegetables except black beans and corn. Sauté another 5 minutes then add seasonings.  Sauté 1 minute and add water.  Simmer mixture until potatoes are tender.  Stir in beans and corn, heat until all ingredients are hot and water is pretty much evaporated.  Serve on toasted flour tortillas and garnish with guacamole, salsa, shredded cheese, and fresh cilantro!  Enjoy with a cold glass of Sunshine Nectar.

Redstone is Grassroots - ASK for MEAD

Please don’t be shy about asking for Redstone to be available at your local bar, restaurant and liquor store.  Remember, Boulder Weekly says…If it was good enough for Bacchus, Zeus, Beowulf and Shakespeare, it’s good enough for you.

Cheers!
